The picture was taken in the seventies and shows the author in front of 
a building wall, so typical for those years: advertising the UNIWERSAL Department Store.
There were many such pseudo-advertisment walls in Poland in those times. My friend from the West had an interesting opinion on that. He asked me if it was official Polish art. Without even waiting for my reply, he added that it was interesting because it was actually abstract, in other words better than what appeared on similar walls in East Germany or Cuba.

Was it really official Polish art?
